Folks it is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Tom Smith yesterday, aged 63.
Tom was a lifelong rally enthusiast whose contributions to our community spanned decades. He joined the BSCC in 1986 and was our BRISPORT editor from 1988 to 1995 and honoured with a Life membership in 1996.
Tom also wrote for Rallysport News; served on the Queensland rally panel (QRAP) in the late ’90s and was on the BSCC board for many years. An accomplished co-driver who always had his helmet ready, Tom was deeply committed to the sport of rallying and will be remembered with respect and affection by all who knew him.
